We'll be painting at the James Grey Preserve in New Port Richey on Fridays in April. Meet in the main parking area at 9:00 a.m. To get to the Preserve, take Main St. in New Port Richey to Rowan Rd. and turn right (south). Tampa Bay Plein Air Painters

Tampa Bay Plein air painters will meet in Largo at 3:00 on the following Wednesday's: March 19 and 26, and April 9.
The group will also meet on Friday's in Tampa at 10:30. March 21st and 28th, and April 18th and 25th. contact dorothy@gardinerartstudio.com for directions and details.

Linda Blondheim Workshop at Honeymoon Island

For those who want directions to the March 28th Workshop:



To get to Honeymoon Island: Take U.S. 19 to S.R. 586 (Curlew Road) and continue west for five miles. S.R.586 ends at Honeymoon Island State Park. There is an entry fee of $3 for one person or $5 for more than one person per car.
Once on the island, follow the main road along until you see on the right a small brown sign for "Picnic Area and Nature Trail." Turn right, then left into the parking area. We'll meet in the far end of that parking area near the Nature Trail. There are picnic shelters here (in case of rain) and restrooms.

WCPA Paintouts for March

March 7, 14, 21:
We'll be painting at beautiful Jenkins Creek/Linda Pedersen Park in Hernando County for the first 3 Fridays in March. Meet at 9:30 am in the first parking area of Linda Pedersen Park, (6400 Shoal Line Blvd.) To get there, take U.S. 19 to CR 595, turn west (left if traveling north); then go left on CR597--Shoal Line Blvd. to the park which will be on the right side. There are restrooms in Pedersen Park. Jenkins Creek is across the street from Pedersen Park; there is no real shade there so you might want to bring an umbrella.

March 28: Composition and Values Workshop with Linda Blondheim at Honeymoon Island from 9:00 to 5:00. Sign up and reserve a place in advance to attend this workshop.
