We'll be painting in the Port Richey area in a couple of locations for October. The first two Fridays, Oct. 3 and 10, we'll be at Brasher Park (mangroves and long gulf views). On Oct. 17, 24, and 31 we'll meet at Nick's Park (boats, docks, active waterway, Hooters). We start at 9:00 a.m. and meet in main parking areas. Click on the links below for directions to both parks. WCPA in the St. Pete Times
The West Coast Plein Air painters made the news! While we were out painting near Pine Island last week, a reporter and photographer from the St. Petersburg Times came out and interviewed us. The next day, Saturday, Sept. 27, this article appeared in the paper. Read here.

Linda Blondheim Art Camps are back in 2009!!!!
Color Mixing for the Southern Landcape
Join me in my cozy studio 13 miles form Gainesville, Florida. Come January10th, 2009 for my art camp on the color palette of landscape painting with acrylics or oils. We will explore the world of landscape painting with color. The camp will focus on color mixing the Florida and Southern landscape palette.
9 AM- 5PM
This camp is one stop shopping!! No need for breakfast, lunch, snack or drinks. I will provide all!!
Just bring your paints, 50 sheets of index paper (card stock), one canvas for a final painting after lunch, your brushes, one bottle of acrylic glazing medium, one small jar of gel medium for acrylic painters, Your turps and paints for oil painters, a sketch book and pencil.
The Date: Saturday January 10, 2009
The Fee: 100.00
which includes 2 meals, snacks, beverages, instruction and workbook.
Deadline for payment January 1, 2008

West Coast Plein Air - September paintouts
We'll be painting along Bayou Drive in Hernando County on Friday mornings starting at 9:00 throughout September. Bayou Drive is located between Pine Island Beach and Bayport.
