West Coast Plein Air - September paintouts

We'll be painting along Bayou Drive in Hernando County on Friday mornings starting at 9:00 throughout September. Bayou Drive is located between Pine Island Beach and Bayport. Tampa Bay Plein Air Painters

The Tampa Bay Plein air painters will meet Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. at Ft.
DeSoto. At North Beach go to the northwest corner of the northern most parking

I've been selected as a participant in the 2008 San Luis Obispo Plein Air Painting Festival, to begin Sept. 29 through Oct. 5 in California's Central Coast. My paintings "Day's End" and "Restoring Uncle Gabe" are currently part of the 15th Annual Maritime Art Exhibit at Coos Art Museum in Coos Bay, Oregon. The exhibition runs through Sept. 20, '08.

"Mary's Chapel" won an Honorable Mention at the Museum of Florida Art in Deland, FL. The show runs through Aug. 24 and includes several PAF members.

August painting site WCPA

The West Coast Plein Air painters will be painting at Fred Howard Beach in Tarpon Springs on Friday mornings throughout August - 8/1, 8/8, 8/15, 8/22, and 8/29. This is the last month the beach will be open until fall of 2009 because they are planning to repair the bridges on the causeway. We'll meet at 8:30 am in the beach parking area farthest to the left after going over the causeway. We cancel until the following week in the event of rain.
