New PAF Member- Welcome
I have been a professional painter and sculptor most of my life, and painting outdoors is something I did of necessity when doing commissions of livestock. I use oils, mostly. My studio work can be viewed at dabbertgallery.com; and my website is under construction. I participated in the AAONF Paintout Reunion last Feb, and enjoyed it SO MUCH. The weather was invigorating. I enjoyed meeting so many great people and am looking forward to becomming part of a group here.

Exhibitions
One of her plein-air pieces painted at the High Springs Paint Out will be included in the American Women Artists National Competition. "Hay Bales," painted on the road to Camp Kulaqua, will be going to LeKAE Gallery in Scottsdale. East meets west.
And to further support the fact that the Gainesville area is one of the most beautiful in the state, her landscape titled "Rocky Shoal" was accepted in the Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional, to be held in Naples, FL. The painting depicts the Santa Fe River at the base of the suspension bridge in O'Leno State Park.
You can see Val's paintings from these exhibits at her updated we site HERE
Congratulations to Val!!
